Q:  What type of hair do you use?

A:  Hairdreams  is a leader in the hair extension industry.  Hairdreams hair is made from especially high grade 100% real human hair of European origin.

Q:  Will extensions damage my natural hair?

A:  Proper care and removal of strands will ensure that your natural hair is not damaged.  Many clients find that their own hair is longer and healthier after their strands are removed.

Q:  How are the strands attached?

A:  Strands are attached with a tiny poly nylon tip that is warmed and bonded to the base of your hair.  The attachment is placed close to the scalp and lays flat to the scalp comfortably.

Q:  How are the strands removed?

A:  The strands are removed with a special solution and tool. Removal is included in your initial price.

Q:  How much do extensions cost?

A:  There are many options available, depending on the look created for you.Prices range from $500. - $2000.

Q:  Can I still color my hair?

A:  You can definitely have your hair professionally colored while extensions are in.

Q:  How long does it take for extensions?

A:  It is a two part process beginning with a complimentary consultation where we discuss your hair creation desires, this takes approximately 30 minutes.  Then we schedule the extension appointment which can take approximately 1- 3 hours.

Q:  Will the extensions match my own hair color?

A:  With a perfect color and texture match, your extensions will be virtually undetectable in your natural hair.

Q:  How long will my hair extensions last?

A:  Approximately 3-4 months or longer, depending on your natural hair growth, texture and proper maintenance.

Q:  Can I style my hair as usual?

A:  Absolutely, feel free to style your hair as usual.

Q:  Will I feel the hair extension bonds?

A:  The bonds are quite small and hardly noticeable.


Hair Creation Tips

  • Using professional hair products will help keep hair strong, healthy and shiny.
  • At night, tie hair back in a loose ponytail or braid.
  • Never go to bed with wet hair.
  • Do not allow hot tools, such as curling irons and flat irons to touch the bonds.
  • Do not apply oil, alcohol or silicone to bonds.
  • Brush hair thoroughly including bond area before shampoo and at night.
  • Chemical processes such as color and perms should be done by a salon professional who is skilled in working with extensions.
