Michelle Clifton began her career in hair on the East Coast, where she grew up; however the winds of change soon blew her to the West Coast to experience exciting and new designing opportunities.

During her eight years Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills, she added to her repertoire with freelancing, print work, and photo shoots with some amazing LA talent. While this satisfied her desire for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, she fell in love and relocated to the Pacific Northwest. After working in some of the best salons in Seattle, Michelle joined the team at Eleveight Salon. You can now find her at Salon Joseph.

To keep her work up-to-date with the latest style trends and state-of-the-art techniques, Michelle regularly attends hair shows and takes advanced training courses to keep on top of the ever-changing beauty and hair industry.

Long hair has been considered the epitome of feminine beauty.  The dream of long hair perfection is, often  met with great difficulties.

The HighLines gives very fine and slightly thinning hair significantly more volume in the crown area. Also done with micro-fine, invisible special threads with high-grade real hair attached to them, which are integrated into the client’s own hair. The HighLines is permanently attached to the crown area via the Bonding ring technique. The client’s own hair is pulled through the extra-wide net, and thus blends beautifully with the Hairdreams hair. With the HighLines System, most any hair style requiring fullness and volume in the crown area is possible. A different color can be chosen for the additional strands in order to get a dimensional color effects such as highlight or lowlights.

Volumizing Tophair  

The innovative TopHair System by Hairdreams is especially fast, convenient and flexible and is ideally suited for quick and effortless thickening of fine and thin hair in the crown area. Due to its special construction it works especially well for styles with longer hair on top, or if you desire a hairstyle with a part.

It is made of an innovative, breathable high-tech mesh with Hairdreams hair attached to it, which is integrated into your  own hair at the crown. The additional hairblends beautifully withyour  hair and results in soft and natural hair styles with longer hair, as well as partings and bangs. 

Depending on the your  preference, the TopHair can be attached permanently or with clips, so that you can remove and reattach it anytime on your own. . You will feel proficient at attaching and removing Tophairbefore you leave salon.

Q:  Will extensions damage my natural hair?

A:  Proper care and removal of strands will ensure that your natural hair is not damaged.  Many clients find that their own hair is longer and healthier after their strands are removed.

Q:  How are the strands attached?

A:  Strands are attached with a tiny poly nylon tip that is warmed and bonded to the base of your hair.  The attachment is placed close to the scalp and lays flat to the scalp comfortably.

Q:  How are the strands removed?

A:  The strands are removed with a special solution and tool. Removal is included in your initial price.

Q:  How much do extensions cost?

A:  There are many options available, depending on the look created for you.Prices range from $500. - $2000.

Q:  Can I still color my hair?

A:  You can definitely have your hair professionally colored while extensions are in.

Q:  How long does it take for extensions?

A:  It is a two part process beginning with a complimentary consultation where we discuss your hair creation desires, this takes approximately 30 minutes.  Then we schedule the extension appointment which can take approximately 1- 3 hours.

Q:  Will the extensions match my own hair color?

A:  With a perfect color and texture match, your extensions will be virtually undetectable in your natural hair.

Q:  How long will my hair extensions last?

A:  Approximately 3-4 months or longer, depending on your natural hair growth, texture and proper maintenance.

Q:  Can I style my hair as usual?

A:  Absolutely, feel free to style your hair as usual.

Q:  Will I feel the hair extension bonds?

A:  The bonds are quite small and hardly noticeable.

• Using professional hair products will help keep hair strong, healthy and shiny.
• At night, tie hair back in a loose ponytail or braid.
• Never go to bed with wet hair.
• Do not allow hot tools, such as curling irons and flat irons to touch the bonds.
• Do not apply oil, alcohol or silicone to bonds.
• Brush hair thoroughly including bond area before shampoo and at night.
• Chemical processes such as color and perms should be done by a salon professional who is skilled in working with extensions.
